I am a Berlin-based UX designer with a background in social media and communications.
Experienced in user-centered approaches within the non-profit and tech industry, I am passionate about purpose-driven products.
I love using my skills for crafting solutions to complex problems from concept to prototype.
My Story
An observer by nature.
I have always been interested in understanding people and getting to know them on a deeper level. Really listening to what is said (or not said) has made me not only a very sociable person, but also helped me in my professional career.
User-centered communication.
Over the past 5 years, I worked as a social media, communications and community manager in a variety of work environments and team sizes. My skill-set made me a great mediator between companies and their users, which I was able to use to help NGOs and companies within the tech industry create relevant content and great experiences for their communities. My user-centered approach made a real difference in my daily tasks - when writing a text for editorial or social media purposes, when communicating with stakeholders and clients or when making content easy to use and access.
A true passion: UX Design
When I first learned about the field of User Experience Design, I was amazed how well it suits my passions, strengths and interests. Therefore it came natural to me to take on the challenge of a career change to UX Design in 2022. I love how I can use my experience and skills in understanding the users' needs and combine it with the creative work of designing a solution that helps them reach their goals. Additionally, I discovered how I have applied UX principles all along in my personal life. I love hosting and connecting to people, draw inspiration for innovative solutions by nature, music and art or working on DIY projects at home in order to give every-day items a longer life with a new purpose.
